IDEXX Enterprise Manager's latest commercial release introduces key improvements for our enhanced search experience and improves the ability to import large price updates and Enterprise Analytics took another big leap forward.
Release Overview
Summary
In Enterprise Manager we introduced key features that will enable us to begin to completely move customers over to the Enhanced Search and Update experience. We also improved search results, import capabilities, and tools for driving standardization in the practice. We have lots of improvements on their way, but this marks a key milestone in retiring the old user experience and greatly improving performance.
In Enterprise Analytics, we've added the much anticipated Payments Data for supported PIMS. We also added a simplified Machine Learning based product categorization ML Classification improving our robust product mapping.
Automatically Simplified
We have simplified the way we classify products so customers can understand performance across key categories even if their clinics have poor standardization. Now thanks to the work and collaboration of the CIS team, we can now automatically categorize the product or service into a category that customers can use for analysis.
Payments Added
We've added, the much anticipated, Payment Data for supported PIMS. Customers can now understand payments collected and replace time consuming processes to manually collect reports for accounting purposes. We are starting the process to review the data with customers and refine our presentation.
In Sync
Animana customers can now synchronize the Master practice with Enterprise Manager search index on demand. This enables users to add products and services directly in the Animana Master practice and not have to wait to see the new product until the next day. This enables us to provide fast and accurate search results without impacting the performance of the PIMS.
Improved Import
Updating product pricing for customers is even easier. We have greatly increased the number of product price updates a customer can make through Enterprise Manager’s Import. We now support over 10 thousand updates with a single import and are working on pushing that cap even further to over 100k.

We also have added Supplier Code as an identifier option for Animana customers making it easy to respond to manufacture pricing changes.
Better Standardization Tools
Standardizing products across Cornerstone and Animana is now even easier. We have introduced the ability for users to bulk update product names across clinics. This enables customers to bring a collection of similar products under a single, consistent product name.
Ramping Up Results
We have improved the accuracy of our large search results using aggregations on our search index. Now we can expect to have all practices included when displaying a row even when the number of results returned is larger than the maximum threshold for a single search term.
