  1. What is the Key Metrics Overview dashboard?
    1. The Key Metrics Overview (“KMO”) is a free monthly dashboard that can be accessed by logging into https://practiceconnect.idexx.com/enterprise/signIn
  2. What information is included in the KMO?
    1. The free monthly dashboard includes practice metrics around total revenue, revenue by classification, patient and client data, service and inventory revenue and trends, top service and inventory lists, and more. National benchmarks provide market insights for at-a-glance comparisons to similarly sized practices. 
  3. How is practice size determined for benchmarks? 
    1. Practice size is based on the number of clinical visits seen by the practice, as defined by the reason for visit involving an interaction between a clinician and a pet. 
  4. How do I sign up for the KMO? 
    1. Enrolling is easy. Simply create your free account at https://practiceconnect.idexx.com/enterprise/signUp.  
  5. Is the KMO replacing the IDEXX Dashboard Report (“IDBR”)? 
    1. IDEXX is continuing to invest in data services and technology to help veterinary practices operate efficiently. The new KMO online dashboard is an example of this investment – available online, anytime, with insights into practice performance that include national benchmark comparisons and new service and revenue trends based on user feedback, as well as historical data at the push of a button. This monthly dashboard will take the place of the currently emailed monthly IDEXX Dashboard Report and will continue to be a free offering for your practice to monitor and manage your data. 
  6. How often is the KMO dashboard updated? 
    1. The KMO dashboard displays data related to the last complete month and gives insight into how your practice is performing compared to the same month in the prior year. 
  7. How far back does the KMO dashboard go? 
    1. The KMO looks at data over the past 12 rolling months. 
  8. Why are the benchmarks blank on my report?
    1. To accurately determine relevant benchmarks, there must be enough historical practice data. At a minimum, we require 14 previous months to be able to display benchmarks.
  9. Can I export my practice data? 
    1. Yes, report data can be exported to .csv, and the snapshot can also be exported to PDF. 
  10. Are additional reports or features available? 
    1. There are two additional tiers of data service available within the IDEXX analytics offering.  
        1. The “Plus” tier of IDEXX analytics includes the Key Metrics Overview dashboard with the addition of regional benchmarks, Revenue Forecasting, Top Items Sold, and the Staff Dashboard. The cost for this tier is $122 per month. Click here to sign up. Click here to learn more.

        2. The “Enterprise” tier of IDEXX analytics is a robust data standardization and analytics offering designed for practice groups to connect data that’s dispersed across multiple practices and streamline operational tasks around managing the associated data.
